- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Probably one of the oldest grocery stores in Safford, however still one of the best. The big chain stores all huddle together across town a few miles on the west side of Safford. Thriftee is centrally located almost downtown and has a massive parking lot for easy in and out. They constantly update the store so that it is pleasing to the shopper. If you have any questions, the super helpful staff is always ready to serve. Thriftee has an excellent meat department, too.August 03, 2017by Jim Bergstrom
